What we do.

Bolshee is a York-based creative projects community interest company, born out of the frustrations of trying to achieve autonomy and leadership roles in an industry that fears risk and, even more so, bolshie women.

We champion women and girls by co-creating and producing projects that elevate the voice of, and support those who identify as female.

We want to work with people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and experiences, and collaborate with artists to produce vibrant multidisciplinary creative projects. 

We want people to feel heard. We want people to feel well. We want people to feel like they belong.

And we want to have a really good time!
